ABNORMAL LOAD DELIVERY: TUESDAY 28 MAY

Scottish Power Renewables has notified the Parish Council of an abnormal load delivery scheduled to take place on the morning of Tuesday 28 May.

It may be advisable NOT to park your car on The Street if you have alternative parking options.

The delivery is for heavy plant required for piling work ahead of the offshore cable pull back.

Piles will be inserted into the ground from the end of the HDD ducts (which run under the cliffs and into our main compound) and the Transition Joint Bay (TJB), which is located slightly further into our compound and is where the offshore and onshore cables are connected. After the piles are installed, preparations will begin to pull the offshore cable into the TJB.
