Danger: There have been substantial cliff falls over the past few weeks on the footpath that leads from Bawdsey Quay along the beach under Bawdsey Manor. WW2 structures are now standIng right at the edge of the cliff. Dry weather has exacerbated the situation.
Walkers are advised to keep well away from the cliff and on no account should they try and clamber over the fallen debris. Parents with young children should be particularly vigilant.
Suffolk County Council Footpath Officer is aware of the situation and is liaising with PGL to put warning signs in place.
