Please could you help us get the word out to as many local people as possible about our new fish delivery service which we started a few days ago due to the current crisis. We are a family business based in Ramsholt on the Bawdsey peninsula near Woodbridge at Lodge farm. We grow asparagus and have two commercial fishing boats. Up until a few weeks ago we were working our main commercial fishing boat from Southold, but we’ve now brought it home to Ramsholt and we are landing our fish at the Rocks Reach on our beach. It will be processed in our inspected and approved facilities.
At our farm and delivered in our delivery vans to individuals requiring fresh direct fish, will be supplying a selection box of the fish we catch each day for £25.
This time of year we would hope to be catching Dover sole, skate, cod, whiting and rock eel in the main, but we will include in the selection box other species we are lucky enough to catch.
We are ideally positioned to keep good by security in our remote location in Ramsholt by supplying our customers directly in our own vans, with mainly family members manning the boats and doing the deliveries.
