Impending closure of Woods Lane, Melton:  Please note the following road closure at the top of Woods Lane which will impact anyone accessing the A12. Bloor Homes has applied for the road closure in order to connect utilities, such as gas, electricity and water to the development of 184 houses. Since the development was granted permission at appeal, it means Bloor Homes legally has the right to proceed with it. This includes:

Phase 1: 6 Nov – 30 Nov 

Phase 2: 8 Jan – 13 April 2018

The closure will be removed throughout December as is standard procedure around the Christmas period.

Diversions will be put in place but journey times will necessarily be much longer!
