Annual Parish Meeting

Members of the Electorate are invited to the Annual Meeting of the Parish on Tuesday 19 April at 7.00pm in the Village Hall. Refreshments will be served.
The Annual Meeting of the Parish is called under statute and is an opportunity to discuss Parish affairs, not only Council Business but also the activities of other village organisations. It is not a Council meeting. It is a public debate.
The main business of the meeting is for the Council to present an annual report of its activities and accounts and to receive comments and queries from Parishioners.
I would also like to look forward to 2016–2017 which will be a significant time for Bawdsey with development of the Bawdsey Quay Visitors Centre, the start of work on East Anglia One Wind Farm and the development of the Radar Trust. This work will need Volunteers to assist the Council in an even busier year ahead. Please put this date in your diary, it’s not far off.
Brian Johnson, Chairman Bawdsey Parish Council
