On Saturday 19th September “Ramsholt: A Living Memory” celebrates the history of this charming settlement on the banks of the Deben. It opens at the Dock at 11am with a talk on the Round Tower church and there will be an exhibition on the people who were born, worked and played in Ramsholt over the past hundred years. Activities include guided walks and talks on the nature, the river and the history of Ramsholt and will include lots of activities for children. At the church there will be music celebrations by students of Alexander College, Bawdsey and sea shanties sung by Micky Burnie. The Old School House will be open for refreshments and you can listen to the memories of people who lived in the village.
